Ugandan singer Namukwaya Hajara Diana, popularly known as Spice Diana, has officially parted ways with Source Management and its head, Rogers Lubega, ending a long-time professional relationship.
In a statement released through her verified platforms, the 29-year-old artiste said the change takes effect immediately and marks the start of a new phase in her career.
“I confirm a change in my management structure, effective immediately,” Spice Diana said.
During her time with Source Management, Spice Diana rose to become one of Uganda’s top female artistes, releasing hits such as Onsanula, Mbiddwa, Omukwano Gwobwereere, Siri Regular, and Kwata Wano.
She also headlined major concerts, performed regionally and internationally, and secured endorsement deals that strengthened her brand.
Acknowledging her former management, she expressed gratitude for their support. “For several years, I worked with Source Management and Mr. Lubega Rogers. I appreciate the contribution and support I was given during that journey,” she said.
Spice Diana clarified that the separation was professional and all business matters have been resolved, including the mutual sharing of jointly acquired property and royalty arrangements on past works.
“There are no remaining claims, and both sides have moved forward professionally,” she added.
She cautioned the public against rumours, stressing that only updates from her official platforms should be trusted, and warned that misuse of her name, image, or brand will be met with legal action.
The singer confirmed she is now under new management, although details of her new team were not disclosed.
“As part of my new career direction, I am now operating under new management. All bookings, brand engagements and professional communication will be handled exclusively through my verified platforms and official representatives,” she said.
Spice Diana thanked fans, media, and industry partners for their continued support and promised more music and larger projects ahead.
Her move mirrors a growing trend among top Ugandan artistes, including Sheebah Karungi, who have opted to independently manage their careers after years of commercial success.
